First Native American Woman in Space:

Nicole Mann (Wailacki of the Round Valley Indian Tribes in California)

Mann hopes to inspire Native American children to chase their dreams, saying "anytime we are able to do something that is a first, or wasn't done in the past, it's so important. They have these opportunities." Mann will be carrying a dreamcatcher that her mother gave her during her time in space.
